not a problem
Keitaro's leaving for a study trip over the weekend. Which means, I'm going to have to watch over Hinata Sou for three days. It's not like I can't handle it, I'm just a bit worried because that means Kentaro's going to have to manage the Teahouse. Kitsune's out for a trip as well, something about researching materials for her novel. Kentaro can't possibly work by himself. I need another person to help me with this predicament. Keitaro leaves tomorrow. And he's not sure if he'll even make it back on Monday. Anyway, I'm sure there will be someone who can help.

a common ground
"Haruka-neesan,..." Keitaro went to visit me in the tea house around closing time.
"Keitaro?"
"Do you know what I should do about this?" He shows me a letter from Grandma Hina. When I read it, I drew a blank what I should say to Keitaro.
"Have you told everyone about it?" I asked him and gave him back the letter.
"Not yet. I plan to tell everybody tomorrow." he said.
"Keitaro. I think, as an adult,..." Keitaro looked at me eagerly as if I was about to give my sound solution, "... what should you do?"
"I don't know. This is so inconvenient. And other people can't do anything about it. I bear this problem." He groaned. "Does it make me an adult to make sacrifices?"
"Sacrifice is such a strong word." I smiled. "You got to do what you have to do."

the deception
Kanako's at the hinata inn again. I just wish she won't mess things up this time. Oh, wait a sec. The phone's ringing. "Moshimoshi?"
"Haruka, I'm glad I've called you. We need to talk. Don't tell your sister. It's about Kanako."
Kanako? "What about her, grandma?"
"Well, how should I put this? ... She didn't come home last thursday. She was awfully quiet for the past few days. I don't know what's wrong. Where could she be? I'm starting to get worried but just don't tell anyone okay?"
At that point, I didn't know what's really happening. I just listened to grandma Hina and thought things over. But I swear, grandma Hina called last Thursday telling me that Kanako would arrive at the airport at midnight the day after. Unless... gasp! What a slick kid. "Grandma, I'll just give you an update. I'm sure she's in a safe place so don't worry."

she's almost there
"Keitaro, Kanako's airplane will arrive at the airport tomorrow. I don't recall exactly the time when her airplane will land. But grandma told me to be at the airport before midnight. I can't go so..."
"Eh? Mmmm... no problem. Leave it up to me."
When Keitaro heard of her arrival, he gave me an unusual smile. But deep down, I think he's really happy. I hope there won't be a stir of commotion in the apartment. But I'm sure there won't be anyway.
